Rename Master

Rename Master provides an efficient means of batch renaming files. By using a renaming script, you can remove words and numbers, replace text, replace numbers, add bits to the beginning of the name, add bits to the ending of the name, and more. You are presented with multiple options to efficiently batch rename files.

Installing Rename Master is optional. Download a 1.9MB archive, extract its contents, run the Rename Master executable, and that’s it – you will be presented with the application’s interface and you can start using Rename Master. Alternatively, you can run the setup executable; you will be presented with a setup wizard and you can install Rename Master on your Windows-powered machine.

The left hand side panel of the application's interface features the following tabs: Renaming Script, Case & Wildcards, Counting, Textfile.
The right hand side panel of the interface allows you to navigate your system and select any folder you want. The files inside that folder will be listed on the interface.

Multiple renaming scripts are put at your disposal by Rename Master. You can use them to remove words/numbers from filenames, to replace bits of text with other text, to edit the existing name, to add bits of text to the beginning or the end of filenames, to change the name from lowercase to uppercase, and more. Rename Master is portable, it is free, and it puts multiple renaming scripts at your disposal. In a nutshell, it is a great tool to batch rename files.
